Eddie
Eddie was the last one to be born from our first litter, in fact he was so late that everyone had packed up and gone home, including Poppy I think. Just as we were settling down for the night we thought we saw another contraction and so called Amber who came rushing back to deliver Eddie. We were so grateful for all the support that Jeff and Amber gave us throughout this first litter that we decided to give them Eddie. Not helped by the fact that he was the best boy in the litter, or the first dog that we let go, many tears were shed on the day of his departure to Jeff and Amber's - we were so upset that had Amber let him, Jeff would have turned around and brought him back to us. We couldn't have asked for two better people to look after Eddie for us; he really was a very nice dog, too much like his dad. We were so upset when he passed away after swallowing a rock and we know how devastated Jeff and Amber were. We will always be grateful though that he had had such a good life and had known so much love and happiness.
