For 2023/24 we are planning on running Iditarod and Kusko 300. Depending on how training, work and finances are doing we are also looking at a couple of other possible races
We are open to offers on the level of sponsorship however feel that a figure of between $250 and $350 would help out a great deal with meeting the considerable race expenses. If you are interested in helping support the retirees $100 may be appropriate. Race costs can be pretty considerable from the need to purchase additional met and kibble, buying dog booties, runner plastic, harnesses, helping with travel and accommodation etc.. We will accept multiple sponsors for individual dogs but would like as many dogs as possible to get sponsored so dogs don't feel left out and unappreciated:). The figures we recommend really are just recommendations and anything at all will help us through the race season. We are not that comfortable with asking for support so would prefer for everyone who sponsors a dog to get something back. In the past we have tried to send all sponsors a signed race poster - we will try to give something back to every sponsor, regardless of size of donation this winter. Furthermore we will acknowledge all sponsors through social media as well as adding a detailed personality description of the dog next to their sponsor's name (and photo/kennel logo if you wish) on our website. There are a few dogs that already have their 'special' sponsors but as we say dogs can have multiple sponsors. Please contact us to discuss individual dog sponsorship.
